Saddle: Horse riding saddle, also refers to the upper piece on the penny loafers, a strip of leather that sits horizontally across the the top of the vamp at the instep. The Cut Project adapts the trend to its own DNA and transforms it into style, by following the three key guidelines, present in all the models of the brand: quality, comfort and a timeless design.
The luxury can be appreciated in the proportions of the last, in the very high quality of the aniline nappa, of an outstanding smooth handfeel, and in the inner components: lining and insole in cuir color vegetable-tanned calf leather. Exclusivity is also evident in the details, such as the fire and gold engravings on the inside and outside of the shoe, as well as the personalized saddle strip with the shape of “The Cut”.
The sole is made of latex crepe, a totally natural and eco-friendly raw material. It is obtained from the sap of the Hevea Brasiliensis, better known as the Rubber Tree. The natural features of this material provide a great comfort, in addition, this type of sole has a greater height compared to the classic loafers, reason why it stylizes the silhouette and turns this shoe into an essential, lasting and super feminine classic.

Composition & Care
Calf aniline nappa shell. Lining and insole made of vegetable-tanned calfskin. Natural latex crepe rubber outsole. Wipe the leather with a dry cloth. You can also use leather-specific high quality products, from brands specializing in cleaning and care for shoes. To clean the sole, you can wipe it with a cloth slightly moistened with warm water and neutral soap or mild anti-grease detergent. This particular type of sole, due to its natural composition, gets dirty with daily use, and the fact that the sole gets darker is considered a normal characteristic. Its use on wet floors should be avoided, as latex loses its grip performance significantly.
